Originally developed in 1981 by Konami, Frogger was a hit on Atari home consoles. The game featured a frog who must overcome roads and rivers bombarded with obstacles, such as trucks, cars, sinking logs, bicyclists, and more. Players need to get the frog safely to its lilly pad, taking advantage of obstacles while they're available (jumping logs and backs of frogs before they sink). Filling all the empty lilly pads completes each successive round and moves players to the next round. Be sure to check out more classic games like Frogger from retro games library.
Frogger was ported across many platforms, including the Atari 2600 and 5200, Intellivison, Commodore 64, Colecovision, among many others. There were multiple versions of Frogger, with the Atari versions being the most prevalent among them all.
